- PEM: 86.525,41€
- Client: Ayuntamiento de San Antonio de Benagéber
- Contractor: Meding Obras y Proyectos, SL
- Tipology: Reclamation of a garden and sustainable drainage.
- Scope: Parque de Fotja (parcial)
The project has a dual objective: to solve the surface runoff problem affecting the football field below the slope and to revitalize the space as a playground and leisure area. A series of accessible routes, combining existing and new paths, create a network of permeable walkways that collect water and direct it to a gravel bed that slowly infiltrates into the lower strata. The existing play equipment is replaced, with its pavement updated over the existing slab. New play features like a zipline and a spiderweb climber are built with a sand and permeable gravel base connected to the SUDS infiltration system. The topography is modified to increase the slope by integrating hillside slides and developing an accessible ramp that connects the sidewalk to the rest of the play area. Pine trees are replaced with mulberry trees to provide shade for the newly created zones.
